Tessie has always had a very strong smurgling habit... she rarely
smurgles an actual person any more, but she's always jumping into the
laundry basket, or standing on the bathmat or pillow and smurgling
away contentedly if she doesn't think anyone is watching... I was
lying on the bed on the weekend recovering from having my teeth
pulled, and I was a bit chilly, so I got John to get me the furry
blanket to keep me warm. As soon as he spread it over my legs, Silver
jumped up onto the bed and stretched herself out on it. Then Tessie
came gleefully running into the room and jumped onto it - then she
smurgled her way all the way down one side of me and up the other. I
would have loved to catch the smurgle-spree on film but the camera was
put away, and when John went to pick it up Tessie got startled and ran
away... shame, because she was so cute!
