Antonio is a semi-feral, probably more on the feral side than semi.  Before
he went missing, I could only pet him if he was on his blankie on the sofa,
or on the bed.  He also hardly ever meowed.  Now, he's rubbing up against my
legs, lets me pet him, he actually rolled over to show me his belly for the
first time!  He also meows much more, and it's a full meow, not just the
little squeak.
He's settled right back into things here.  The cats took him back in, well,
it took Bartleby a couple days, but everyone else was like "Oh yeah, it's
you!"  Antonio even remembered the sound of the laser pointer jingle!

Can you believe that? Well, this time, he had something to contrast the big
OUT to, and so he must figure it is a Good Thing to be inside.

Great news, Kelly.  Guess Antonio has decided he's there to stay now!

It's great that he has settled into indoor life so well. I'm sure he's
very happy to be home.

I'm so glad he's back and none the worse for wear. Funny, these
ferals. Bonnie (also more feral than semi) is very lovable since
the kittens came. I still can't pick her up, but she rubs against
me way more than she used to, and sits by my side watching them and
their hoolikitten activities.

While Antonio was gone, I thought if I ever got him back, I would have to go
through the whole socialization process all over again.  I was wrong,
fortunately :)

Wilson has a funny way of standing up on his hind legs and
almost rubbing air, if there's a wall close at hand he leans over
till he feels the wall, almost walking on his hind legs to rub on it.
heespecially does this if he sees  his dish in my hand

Smokey says:

See Antonio? Outside sucks.  It's cold and wet and there's no food.
Inside there is couches and vittles and you can get the kitty kitty
luv.  Why leave?
