Feline is an adjective that means relating to cats, you f.cking idiot.

Did a cat set the fires?  What the hell has a story about arson to do
with cats or feline anecdotes?

Geez, calm down. You'd think you just started reading this newsgroup
or something. Haven't you noticed that we have a *few* off-topic posts
now and then? :)

It's gotta be a case of netcop fever - Matthew didn't mark the post OT.  But
BFD, IMHO!

We tend to play fast and loose with what is on and off topic in here.  SO,
who died and appointed you RPCA substance police?

Pam S. who has been having a lot of escapees from the kill file lately.

But you couldn't just say that?
You had to be the ultimate a.shole and bitch about the word feline instead
of the word cats to refer to this newsgroup?

Sheesh.  Pull that 2x4 out of your a.s!

What about your own post do you think _earned_ you a civilized response?
What _benefit_ do you think anyone would have gotten from your post?  Did
you honestly expect people to _thank_ you for your help?

FWIW, he's in my stinky litterbox as well.
Yes, he can blow it out his a$$ as far as I'm concerned too.
Hugs to both you and Andy

My sister-in-law in Cocoa has been told to be prepared to evacuate. The
danger of fire is the worse danger of course but the smoke and difficulty in
breathing is awful.
Prayers for the safety of all involved.

My husband is a truck driver, major roads go through the area, traffic is
diverted far and wide playing havoc with his and other peoples schedules.
The traffic is now thicker on the smaller roads and visitors are lost.
Tempers are short.
David is going to Georgia tomorrow and is glad!

There are very big Wildlife Areas there also.  Major concerns for the
animals.

Matthew, I hope you are okay.  Alison, how about you? Any other Floridians
in the threatened areas?  Please check in.

Charleen

I've heard Cocoa Beach is about to get evacuated and you're correct about
all the Wildlife Preserves in that area.  It's completely devastating.  I'm
in Central Florida and we get nailed by fires all the time.  I'm expecting
us to be next.  It's so dang dry!  Our state is in trouble.

OB:  Dr. Evil just dropped a bomb.  Ugh.  I wish we could set up my computer
somewhere else.  Yikes.  I've got to clean the box or I'm going to be sick.

I am fine    about 20 miles away from it  we had a brush fire last week 1/2
mile away from my house

Halifax humane society had to evacuate the other day it was right in the
path of the fire they got every four leg out and moved them to Volusia
county fairgrounds

I'm pretty far from the Palm Beach fire which is the largest.  The Daytona
one hasn't threatened us yet but it's made DHs commute rather nasty as they
have closed some main roads.  We're supposed to get smoke from one of them
over I4 for the ride home but all of this is minor compared to what other
Floridians are going through.  We have the cat carriers where we can get to
them quickly if we have to evacuate but chance of that looks slim right now,
unless another one starts.  Everything is soooo dry.

Prayers for everyone affected.
