Cards away!

Managed to send off the cards today. I don't think I'll be doing this
next year, unless I finally get myself a printer. ;o) Addressing and
signing 60 cards by hand took me well over a week. I think I'm getting
carpal channel syndrome again. Plus I had to translate the season's
greetings printed in Finnish in the cards. So, as much as I would have
loved to have addressed the cards to every cat and hoomin in the
household individually, and would have loved to write a personal message
to everyone, I had to keep it short (especially with my terrible
handwriting).

Only Catnipped's very funny card has arrived yet. Looking forward to the
postal flood.

I used the printer to print out the labels with the addresses. I think
this helps on two fronts: it helps my hand and it diminishes the chance
of a misdelivered card due to poor penmanship. :)

Me too! I have all the cards ready to go, just waiting for the stamps I
ordered to arrive.

walk up in the heat, I need a few more stamps too, I'm glad I won that &500
or I might not have been able to afford them LOL   Jean.P.

I'm amazed at how sweet and innocent Sammy looks. Loved the card btw.

60 cards by hand!  Ye gods!

I hate to think of how many cards I would send if I did not have a
computer to help.  In fact I sent about 180, or 190.  Not Joy, of
course, as explained before, since I accidentally deleted her off the
computer!  :(

I like ot hear of one getting through since all my foreign cards go
together and that gives me confidence the rest are getting there.

Have to say, I too did all my cards by hand, to all the addresses
on the list,  plus 35 to all my friends and relatives,it is a pain Marina
but I just did as many as I could manage each night, starting with the
overseas ones
and doing the aussie ones lastcause they can get there overnight.
Good luck for next year Marina, I'm sure you'll manage love,
Have a happy New Year,  hugs Jean.P.    also

Your handwriting is *not* terrible.  I thought it was quite distinguished on
the card you sent to me.  Sort of "posh" even, Marina. ;-)
It is nice educated handwriting.

'Posh'???? That's very nice of you, Tweed, but I know what my writing
looks like. ;o) I've had eight hand operations (four per hand) and my
hands are pretty stiff, probably also due to this thickening of the
skin, and neuropathy which is caused by diabetes. I don't write posh. :o)

<pantomime mode>  OH YES YOU DO!!

I'd like to have seen it before you had your hand ops, must have been
super-posh then. ;-)
