I was grading papers yesterday when the ceiling fan suddenly turned itself
on (high setting, of course).  Then it turned itself off.  I glanced
around...and discovered that Holly was walking on the remote control.

Do you suppose she was trying to tell me something?  Like, "Forget about
those papers and give ME some attention"?

Of course. Cats find "papers" of any kind....IRS forms, bills,
newspapers, mags,....
booooooring and to cats they have only one use...to sit on and
meatloaf.

Smokey's taken to turning on the printer for his lulz.  I think he
likes to startle me with the noise when it starts up.

Whenever I print something, the noise of the printer always startles
whoever is curled up with me at the time. So I think Smokey, who is
apparently hooked up to the Worldwide Telepathic Cat Network, is simply
exacting a bit of revenge for the feline side.

Oh, they love shredding important papers.  They somehow "know" the
difference.

I was watching the tail end of a movie just the other day and Tyrone did
that to me.  Click!  I was like, what the heck?  Oh, it's Dr. Evil at work
again.  By the time I got the TV back on and found the channel, the movie
was over.  BCT.
