I wanted to see how Flickr works with movies.  It looks good so far.  I
have three clips up that are cute of the brothers.

Let me know how they play.

This should go to the movies:

Worked well for me.  Lyle is so cute with his white tooties and nose stripe.
Frank is absolutely handsome and deserves those tummy rubs.

That is pretty much how I see them.  Lyle is the cute one and Frank is
the handsome one.  Lyle's gray and white paw bottoms are just the best
and Frank has all those swirly colors.  Notice Frank just jumps on that
table and flips over like there is no chance I wont stop what I am doing
to rub his tummy.  I have no idea where he got _that_ idea from.

Great vids - Frank looks just so ridiculously happy and content and like
he owns the place and Lyle has those fabulous white toesies and is very
brave indeed!

Loved the vids. Frank really is at home there now, and what a handsome
boy he is. Glad to see Lyle being so forward, too. Most of all loved the
babytalk. ;)

Yeah, I figured I would hear about _that_.

Just as an FYI:  All thre movies I posted on flickr are now shorter (the
end has been truncated) than they were when I posted them.  They all played
fully when I first looked but now they are shorter but they are not all the
same.  I guess it's back to youtube.

I had that happen with Dropshots. That's when I started using Youtube.

And I'm glad you did, because for some reason, the films on Dropshots
come out all jerky and discontinuous on my computer. Usually it would
stay on one photo for a while, while the sound played normally, and then
advance to another photo, where it would stay on that for a while. It's
probably just that I have an ancient computer that's not fast enough
for the video technology - I've been putting off upgrading for a while
now - but the films never looked anything like real life. More like a
slideshow. But your YouTube videos have been fine, yay!

Flickr truncates at 90 seconds but I had not read that at first.  The
video looks slightly better than youtube with the high quality selection
but I guess I will stick with youtube.  Next time I will read before I
post. (or not :)

They played *very* nicely.  They downloaded really fast and seemed much
sharper and clearer then YouTube movies.

BTW... awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, how sweet was that!!!?

I think they looked better also but the 90 second limit caught me off
guard.  On youtube if you click the high quality thing it helps.  You can
do that right inside the link but I forgot how.

I didn't know you could do that on YouTube (I had resigned myself to just
seeing blurry, scratchy movies there).  I'll have to check it out, thanks!

If the click is there it is under the video window.  I don't think it is
as good as the flickr movies but it is better than the standard play
quality.  You can append something to the link to do it automatically but
I don't remember what it is.  A quick search should find it.  Not all
videos have the availability and I am _guessing_ it has to do with the
original quality lever you upload.  I send pretty high quality movies
since "why not".

What beautiful and cute boys! Lyle has such nice markings on his face.
Do you think he's been watching Frank get all this attention and then
decided to come out of hiding to get some of that for himself? He
certainly seems interested.

The first movie played OK, although on a small screen. The second and
third were on larger screens, but were a bit jerky. But I think that's
my PC, not your movies or the site... I enjoyed them all just the same.

Lyle _does_ want attention.  He has even gotten a little tummy rub a few
times but he suddenly darts away (as opposed to kicking like he was
ticklish).  He comes up to me quite often but only so close.  At this
point I can almost always pet him if I am careful and there are even
times he is the first one out when I arrive home but he is still real
nervous so given this I do think Frank's comfort with me is a good
influence on Lyle.
