I haven't been able to reply to every post lately - like others here, RL
(especially at this time of year) tends to poke its ugly head into my life.
I just wanted to say I'm still sending purrs for those who need them and
lighting candles for the kitties who are traveling to the RB.
Last night I lit 40 candles, and will light them again tonight, for all the
kitties, way too many, that have left us this year.

I am curious -- how do your pets react to all of the candles? I have
never used candles because of the fire hazard (I"m a worrier) and I'd
rather be safe than sorry.

They've never gone near them - not even Sammy. They have gone close to
sniff, but never close enough to get burned - either they don't like the
smell (I use scented candles), or they can sense the heat on their sensitive
noses.
