I've had long whiskers on my chin for several years. Certainly for
longer than Little Boy has known me. Today, I clipped my chin whiskers
off, so I have just a regular, short beard. Just because.
Little Boy has been asleep on the bed since just before supper.
After I finished trimming my beard, I leaned over Little Boy and
kissed him. He leaned back, opened his eyes a slit, then literally
jumped back with his eyes wide open, and a "Who the hell are YOU?!?"
look.
He recovered quickly, and started cleaning, but he keeps looking my
way, trying to decide if he can tolerate the new look or not (evil
grin).

I am an albino and have always had this awful white hair. A year ago, I
started coloring it. The first time Miz Piglet saw me with darker hair, she
wouldn't come to me. Only at night after I turned off the lights would she
come by me. Then I got it cut real short and she took a week before she
figured out I was still me. Funny how they react to things. Mr. O T didn't
care either way, he was a kitten and so long as food was there, that is all
that mattered.

Every time I get new glasses frames at least one one of the cats weirds out.

That's funny! Ours have never seemed to notice DP's ever changing
facial hair or the time I streaked my hair pink. The only thing I can
remember is just after a hair cut, Nocturne will groom DP while on his
head. She doesn't like to groom long hair, so I never get a cleaning.

It's so funny how they notice that stuff. Sometimes people don't notice
that stuff!

I have a friend whose elderly dog is now blind. When I visit him, she
will start barking. I always greet her by name, at which point her ears
perk up and she starts wagging, because she now knows that a friend is
present, not a stranger.
