I wish it wasn't so hard to get a good photo of an all-black cat!
Last week I was in the back yard speaking with the neighbor lady (the one
on the south side). We were discussing dogs and cats and family and
weather, and of course we had to talk about all the kitties in my back
yard.
She asked everybody's names again (she can only remember Ranger, since he
does occasionally go into her yard to visit with her tiny dogs), and she
mentioned that she feels intimidated by Tabitha. This floored me - Tabitha
probably weighs all of 5 or 6 pounds, is almost all fur, and is the shyest
and most timid of all the cats. The neighbor lady explained that she is
intimidated by Tabitha's hypnotic eyes - those wonderful golden eyes
staring out of all that pure black fur. She explained that when Tabitha
looks at you, it feels like she's staring right into your soul.
I really need to get some good photos of those beautiful eyes.

Yes, you do! Looking forward to seeing them. It's true that the eyes of
black cats tend to be extra beautiful. All that black setting them off.
