YoHo can play

After he finished eating, I let YoHo wander around.

He discovered the cat tree, with two dangly toys and a piece of loose
rope from the scratching post. I watched him through the cutout, and
could see him attacking one of the danglies over and over. He's drop
it down the hole, then reach down and grab it again.

He'd run down the carpeted ramp, then back up again. He's pop his head
up, then duck down to play with a dangly toy.

He jumped down onto the cat bed, which has a crocheted blanket on it.
A mysterious monster (my hand) kept making the blanket move, so he had
to kill it.

He also discovered that my nose just might be edible. First, he'd lick
it, then he'd try to gnaw (gently, thank goodness!) on the tip. Then
he decided that I needed my moustache washed, which tickled!

Of course, he had to climb up on my shoulder, and walk back and forth
between both shoulders, all the while purring and rubbing against my
head, with an occasional head butt.

He even let me cuddle him for a few seconds of non-squirminess (grin).

I *SOOOO* hope he is someone's kitten, and not a feral kitten. He is
so very sweet and loving. And he loves his Unca Buster - I see him
snuggling Buster several times.

]Also, I'm finding that he is black with darker black tabby stripes. I
really need to get a better picture of this baby.

Hugs and Purrs,
Mark

I'm thinking that he *is* someone's kitten -- yours!  Now you gotta
'splain to him that you "just can't" have another one.  Purrs for you all.

Mark, I can't keep up with you and the endless parade of orphaned or
homeless kitties who come through your house. I obviously blinked and
missed the latest one - who is YoHo?

He sounds like a very friendly cat.

And I swear, you must have a few cat genes yourself. Maybe you *smell*
like a cat (to other cats - hopefully not to Senyah :)).

Yoho is a 3- or 4-month old black kitten who just showed up. He is
extremely sweet and loving. I call him YoHo because he likes to ride my
shoulder, like a pirate's parrot. I feed him milk-softened cat food because
he looks like he's eating a jaw breaker when he eats big cat food.

It's very sweet when they do that as kittens, but try it with an adult
cat... Caliban doesn't realise he's grown TOO BIG to be walking back and
forth on my shoulders.

Oh I know In fact, I think of Caliban every time YoHo does this, and think
"This is probably a bad precedent."

Well, if you're concerned about precedents, I guess that means you're
planning to keep him? :)

Yes.  Yes you do. ;)

He sounds like an absolutely fantastic kitten, a real joy.  I doubt if he
could be feral, because he is too comfortable with you.  Even feral kittens
have some fear of hoomins.   Where could his mommy be?
