A few weeks ago I mentioned we had an unusual number of unfamiliar cats in
the neighborhood.  Pretty much a sign of spring here.

One of them is a very pretty flame point mostly Siamese tom who has been
hanging around and trying to make friends with Charlie.  My resident
pushover and DH.

Being non-pushover is my role.  Besides which there is no way I'm going to
risk bringing in a stray intact Tom.  No matter how pretty he is or what
big blue eyes he has.    Food and water are available all over the
neighborhood.  Besides I had convinced myself that he lived at a house down
the street.  And I hadn't seen him for about a week until yesterday.

Seems like (I have to learn his name, can't keep calling him Balls) he has
moved in across the street.  The woman who just moved in there works in a
vets office.  They have fallen in love with him.  He's been gone a week as
he's been in for some 'minor surgery'.  So he has a good a responsible
home, plus he's right across the street and he and Charlie can still be
friends.

He either gets along with Jake and Molly or Kayla or at least a truce seems
to have been declared.  And now I can safely start to like him as well.

Oh, so glad to hear he landed on his feet. And you get to enjoy his
company, too. He sounds gorgeus.
