Basho got sick a few years ago, he was throwing up all the time. The vet
did an ultrasound and diagnosed either cancer or IBD. We decided to
forgo a biopsy (only way to discard cancer) and focus on his diet. He
also got some medication to help with the inflammation. Long story
short, over those days I would sit with Basho and put my hands on his
tummy and focus on how much I love the little guy. He looked back at me
with that classical wisdom-full look of his, as if he knew what I was
trying to do.
He is very healthy now and the only times he throws up is when he
engulfs and entire can of food in 2 minutes flat. :)
Cheers.

And of course, he *never* does that. :P

Don't knock it. The 'laying on of hands' is one of the oldest forms of
medicine. I believe it is a way of helping someone to focus on healing.
And the brain does provide wonderful drugs.
Glad Basho is doing well.

hey folks,
indeed, the healing energy could be in any forms -not only Reiki- the
basic is our sincere love & compassion.
If anyone has read Masaru Emoto's books about the power of water, etc.
then will understand that our love (or hatred) is an energy like being
transmitted to our surroundings; there's an experience from a
terminally ill man, every morning he wakes up, and make some
meditation and being appreciated for the sunshine, the trees, the
weather, being thankful & gratefullness to his surroundings (spreading
his love).... the amazing thing is, gradually-slowly he's recovering
from his illness; it's just like karma, I guess. If we maintain
positive thinking & attitude towards anyone & anything surrounds us, I
believe thay will come back to us in a good way & positive feedback
too.
cheerz,
