My little 15 year old orange tiger cat, Jeremy, aka Jere, aka the Peeps,
made the trip to the Bridge this morning at about 11:15 am eastern US
standard time. He had been in failing health for about a week, and we
decided to let him go peacefully, at home with his kitty friends and mom and
dad nearby. At least, that is how we planned it. I had to work today, and
left him in the care of my hubby, Dave. About 11:10, while at work, I swore
I heard him 'talk' to me. It was very clear. Dave called me about 11:30 to
tell me that he had gone, and told me that he had started agonal breathing
at about the time I heard him meow. Dave sat with him and stroked him, until
he stopped breathing. He took Jere to the pet cemetery here to have him
cremated, and we will keep his cremains with the rest of our crew's ashes.
When we die, they will go with us. I know Jere was met at the Bridge by our
RB crew - Maus, Dweazel, Nyota, Teebies, Pixel, Buster, Siobhan, Ishtar and
Brianna. He is probably having a great time playing with Pixel (Dude),
having 'chuff' sessions and chasing each other around.

I will be updating my website to include his story in the next day or so,
and will send the link here after I get done.
