so there I was, reading news groups and working on my food journal... when I
heard a horrible racket... I heard a screech and several cats went running
across the top of the drapes... I thought holy crap a squirrel has somehow
gotten in, I am having visions of rabies and ER vet bills and almost have a
heart attack, so I run out to get DH who is calming doing one of those
puzzles I can't spell and I yell squirrel in house cats crazy, he gets out
and we go in the house, he says, nope its a bird... and Chester already has
it... less than 2 minutes... DH thinks it has been sent to the next step so
he reaches down to take it away and Chester releases it, and its flies off,
Chester recaptures it and DH then takes it away and puts it outside, it was
fatally damaged but flew into a tree... I will spare you the description of
why DH is sure it will go... Chester sat on the counter staring at the spot
where the snack last lay... I got him a slice of H*M while DH figured out
how it got in and what we have to do to fix the issue... Chester pouted for
quite a while and scorned the H*M at first, but we both praised him and the
ham is almost gone... he shared with the others and life is back to normal,
happy cats, and more house repairs, Lee

I'm probably not the first one to post this, but it's spelled Sudoku. I'm a
fan, but not as good as I'd like to be. I also love cross word puzzles,
Crisscross, and various pencil puzzles. I don't have the patience or
analytical mind to do logic puzzles.

thanks, Chester keeps going to the counter and staring at the exact spot
where he last saw the food, I mean bird, he is still perplexed as to exactly
how it left, I think, Lee
