I seem to have a linen closet infested with greeblings. Makes
Francesca crazy that she can't get at them! Nina scared away hundreds
of thousands of greeblings hiding in the toilet paper and paper towel
rolls when she was just a little tyke of a kitten. Last night, I think
Francesca found a greebling hive behind my bedroom door--she was
certainly telling me what a mighty huntress she was back there what
with her scrabbling at the door and the walls and her urgent
announcements!

The greeblings are taking over...eeeeeeeeek!
Are there different kinds of greeblings, or do they all look alike?
Has a hoomin ever seen a greebling, and lived to tell about it?

Its Spring and the warm weather Greebling are awakening from
hibernation. Spicey has had to race around the apartment to catch
them. Chasing them to the top of her cat tree and boping the heck out
of them is the most effective way to defeat them.

Maybe that explains why for the last couple of days The Fabulous
Furballs have been staring intently at the front door- they keep
sitting by it and sniffing the same couple of spots intently and on
Sunday Sarsi seemed interested in the front door to the point where
she stood on her back legs for a couple of minutes, staring at the
same point and sniffing..obviously this is where the greeblings will
migrate from wherever they spent the winter back into the flat!

It explains all the recent bouts of the Zoomies around here, too.
Clearly, cats must move fast to protect their hoomins from the
springtime greeblings!

I wish we only had greeblings.  Last night at bedtime Jake presented us with
a very fat, pretty much still alive mouse.

He doesn't know where it disappeared to, but has been out in the field all
morning.

I have a bunch on the bed and in my living room.  I tend to have them
living in plastic bags and paper towel rolls too.

And a whole bunch on and around the cat tree.  Mischief and Mayhem
take care of the ones on the top, while Imp tries to beat the snot out
of the ones at the bottom......
