Willow does football. She found somewhere in the house a tiny football, baby
size. She grabs it and runs with O T chasing her. Then he gets it and the
chase in on again.

My childhood cat, Charcoal, was a football player. When my brother and I
were little, my dad used to play Nerf football with us in the living room
(much to my mother's chagrin). Charcoal was a defensive lineman. No matter
who had the ball, he would blitz and sack the quarterback. ;)

Our cats, mostly Missy and her recently RB brother Winnie, are more
hockey players than football or basketball. The game mostly involves
one of our dog Bear's beloved tennis balls and kicking it around until
Bear got so excited that he would join in. He is cat-friendly but so
big and out of control in his movements that they quickly call the
game due to hazardous conditions.
WooToo plays a similar game with scrap paper and sometimes Maggy May
will join her. I have had two d*gs over the years, Snowball and BD,
both RB, who were pass rushers by trade. However, Snowball would only
run in and jump for the ball. BD would knock you down.

Licky is also a "football" player, but only in the non-USA sense. He bats
a ball, chases it, catches up and bats it again, rinse and repeat.
Not being a big sports fan, I don't know who the current stars are, so
I hope I don't sound hopelessly out of date if I call him Licky Beckham
or Pele. :)
