I've mentioned over the last few weeks that Molly seems to think that as a
fully grown up princess, it is now time for her to be Queen of all she
surveys.

Mostly accomplished by bossing the dog around and putting a somewhat docile
Jake in his place at least once a day.  Bossing us around more than usual.

Talk about a time I'd have killed for a camera.

We were sitting on the sofa, sort of watching TV, sort of messing with the
furkids.  Everyone was in, and in the family room.  All thirty pounds of
Kayla was in Steven's arms playing very large lap dog with really big feet.

You could see Molly thinking.  She wanted in on the action.  And besides she
considers Steven her personal slave.  Now she gets along with Kayla.  They
do head butts and sniffing and licking without incident.

But Molly wasn't pleased.  And I suspect she watched a few episodes of the
Dog Whisperer when we were keeping an eye on her.

So after a brief attempt to join Kayla on Stevens lap. she decided what they
were doing wasn't suitable behavior for the cat that is the queen.  (There
were horsing around and fairly roughly)

So she came to my end of the sofa.  But the wheels were turning.  She heads
back across the sofa and climbs on top of Kayla who is still wiggling like
mad and licking Stevens face and biting at his hands.    She licks a bit.
head butts Kayla. Exchanges nose touched and sniffs. and the she reached
around Kayla's muzzle and takes as much of Kayla's neck and she can into her
six pound cat mouth.  And she puts her down and holds her there.  Probably
held her down a good fifteen seconds before she let go. and Kayla stayed
down.

You have no Idea how much I wish I had video.

I'd write to the Dog Whisperer, but without pictures, he's never believe me.
