If you do, we could really use some.
DH has gotten a bad knee and can hardly walk for like 3 days now and mine
hurt so bad, I wanna die, but that's the way it is with them.
Poor DH, I feel so bad for his knees, because he takes such good care of me
and loves me so much.  He just made me a yummy hazelnut latte and he always
draws a heart  on the foam with a little xrta coffee. I wouldn' trade him
for anbody in the world.
We've been married for over 31 years.

Our best friend Arnold is coming over for the weekend because he's depressed
because his beloved neice, who has CP has been in out of a coma for 2 months
now and we need to purr and pray that she's not suffering.  I only met her
once, a couple of years ago, when Karen, who was an advocate for the
disabled, at a party Arnold had, and she, with her disibality, went shopping
and got me this cute Cat  angel cat pin, which has gone missing:/  Poor
Karen.  I could understand some of what she was talking about, with the
speech thing that goes with her disibality,
I sat right next to her at the party and she and I became really good
friends.
I got her laughing SO hard.   Her fiance, Woody, is devastated
She lives in Philidelphia, and has traveled all over the US and has gotten
arrested at least 16 times, for draggingher poor disfigured body over
Capital steps, in alot of US citiies to protest the lack of health care.
Now, bless her serrt heart, like I said, she's been in a coma, and and IDK,
I want her to 'go home' peacefully, with no pain.
Is that selfish of me to wish that for her?

My youngest Sister, Melanie,  who's DH sings in The Mormon Tabernacle Choir
is still having problems with 2 of her 5 grown kids and she also has a
'female' condition, which requires a $1000 co-pay, for a cat scan,  despite
the fact that she has insurance, can't afford it.  I am so close to her, and
we talked for about 3 hours 2 days ago, and I feel so bad for what she's
going thru .  She has a business called 'Brower Creek', which is the name of
our parent's, both who 'went home' in 2007, with in 8 months of each other.
They were divorced tho.
She does glass etchings and last Christmas, she sent me and DH engraved
clear coffee mugs with our names etched on them, and a kitty engraving.
Bless her heart.

I am just sitting here in tears, because of all this and because of my
blasted knee pain, and for all that's going on :(

I'm also feeling sad, as April approaches, because I lost my beloved Mom
late last August, and her birthday was April Fool's Day (Apr 1)
and that explains alot about me.  heh..well last year, I called her from
near Seattle to Colorado, at 3 am her time, I know I woke her up, and that's
why I called her...
ring ring
Mom: groggily hello?
Me:  Hi Mom, happy birthday, then I proceeded to play happy Birthday to her
on my Kazoo, then told her I loved her and to go back to sleep, and I'd call
her later.
Did she remember the call...oh yeah  LOL.
Now, this year, I don't get to call her and that makes me so sad.  She had a
stroke late last August and went without pain, 2 days later, which was a
blessing indeed.
She too, was an active Mormon who went on 3 Misssions.
She would have been 85, bless her heart.
When we talked on the phone, our last words to each other were I love you:)
Even tho I'm not a Mormon anymore, they love me and respect my beliefs.

There IS some 'good' news in all of this..Mosey seems to feeling alot better
and is eating his canned food and pooping/peeing in his box...  He has a
check-up next month, and I think he might have put on a pound or 2.  I can
feel this when I pick him up .
Anyway, enough of my ramblings
Thank you all so much..
I really feel loved and cared about here.
I'll be okay, I will, but the other hoomins 'really' need your purrs
and prayers for healing, and such.
Arnold is a hugger too and he's gonna get lots of em from me this week-end.
DH doesn't mind at all.
I know that purrs and prayers DO help.
Love and Hugs

My Mom always apologized for waiting until April 3 for me to be born.
She used to say April 1 would have been "more accurate." WooToo and I
miss her every day.

Do the women who go on missions get called "Elder" too. I meet these
young guys on missions to the wilds of heathern New Haven and they
always have a good sense of humor about being Elders. None of them are
offended that I find it funny.

My Mom and I talked about WooToo, her cat at the time, the last time I
saw her. It was a loving conversation.

Will, you can always be happy you made the call.  I can see her rolling over
to go back to sleep and saying something like "Kids, Kazoos, Kittens, I am a
lucky woman."  Just think if you hadn't called.  This is the stuff memories
that sustain us are made of.

Innit?  The memories have been both good and bad.
I'm overlooking the bad ones and focusing on the good ones. <G>
I was so happy I got to talk to my Mom the day before.she had her stroke.
We ended our conversation with 'I love You', and that really
means a lot to me now:)
Like I told Will, our Mom's, all of em, who have 'gone into the light',
are still watching over us.

I really believe that.

Yeah, but....I know. she's in another dimension, where
she's not in pain. where she's happy,
She's ready to 'go home'.
She'd ripped out her feeding tubes.

I know, those young guys do have a lively sense of humor LOL.
My youngest Sister's youngest, Ezra, is on a 2-year mission in Tonga,
which is in the Fiji Islands?
Somewhere near Australia/New Zealand IIRC,  I should ask Yowie, she'd know
where that was.  It's a series of small islands and...

So was my last conversation with my Mom, a 'day' before she
