Stinky is getting into the holiday spirit early-- he presented me with
a lovely dead mousie this evening.  I'm getting really good at not
freaking out when I find placed so carefully in my shoe. :P  Actually,
that makes it easier to get rid of them.  ;)   I removed the tiny
offering, and made a great fuss over Stink,  telling him what a
wonderful hunting boy he is.  After all, he only took this up
recently, and he is almost 14.

Happy Thanksgiving to all U.S. cat slaves!  And a happy fourth Thursday in
November to those overseas cat slaves who do not celebrate this holiday. =o)

Remember, behind all those sweet, whiskery little faces, and angelic
expressions are minds that are planning grand theft poultry if they can pull
it off. =o)

Nina is obligingly conquering my purse strap as I type this.  Those leather
straps have to be watched carefully, you know.  The poor darling does not
know that after tomorrow morning, Meowmie will be gone for four days.
However, a very nice substitute cat slave will be coming over to do meals,
adoration, and cat box maintenance while I'm gone. As I will be in transit
to the East Coast for most of the day, this will be the most slimming
Thanksgiving I've ever had. =o)

What a good boy. Frank didn't take up hunting until he was 10.

Persia is terrified of mice.  There was one dead in the kitchen once (I
guess it just dragged itself in there).  Persia was trotting ahead of me
thinking "mommy + kitchen = food" when suddenly she stopped dead in her
tracks and squeaked loudly.  I nearly tripped over her.  It was a dead
mouse.  She would not enter the kitchen until I had removed it.  I suppose
in the long run this is a good thing since I don't have to check my shoes
for mouse-parts :)

WOW!  Poor little gal!  She doesn't even see the toy potential?

Nope, but she does love the toy fuzzy ones a lot!
