Doing this is never easy. Usually I am at the vets already and when decided
it is done. With my Scooter Dog I had two weeks. The last day knowing what
is to come was so very hard. Prayers for the two of you.

Question about this site... It was so nice and comforting to go see the 5
candles that were lit for Farkie upon her passing....I noticed when I
returned to the site... the candles are no linger lit...is there a time
limit or just what?... If I knew the candles and comments were going to
disappear...I'd have done a screen capture....sighhhhhh....... Sure miss My

I am so very sorry that you had to make the final decision for your
Farkie.

Most of us here have lost one or more of their beloved cats; I have lost
two.

I am glad that Farkie was with you for a good long time; this is not
always the case, of course. It is something to be thankful for, in the
days, weeks, and months to come.

I have lit a candle for Farkie in my very special candle holder in the
shape of a sleeping cat, curled around where the candle goes. It will
help to light her way to the Bridge. Farkie will find many, many RPCA
cats to romp and play with there.

Liz, I amso saddened by the kindest but most
heartbreaking act you did out of love for Farkie today.
I'm just sitting here in tears. My beloved Mutt, who was 19 when he went to
Rainbow Bridge last Dec 9, met your beloved Fanki, along with all the other
kitties from here, and they are showing her around.
And I feel your heart break.. I really do.
You shared 16 years fun filled wonderful years together,
and it was wonderful of you to take her out into the garden and talk to her.
She wants you to know that she still loves you and she misses you too, and
it's okay to have water in your eyes for awhile...but you gave her a great
life...
then she ran off to play.
