Some of us do not do water well (I can relate to that, I don't/can't swim),
and others like the idea of a cruise. Why not do both. We get together in
Orlando either before or after the cruise for the rest of the gathering.
That way we can have our surf and our turf.

I know it's not practical for most people but last night I was thinking
Ljubljana would be a great place for a get together, I think evrybody on the
group would love to meet Polonca.

Do they use the Euro there? It's kinda pricey right now... ;-)

Yes, they do, Slovenia became a member of the Euro area January 1st 2007.
Part of the reason I said it wouldn't be practicle for most, fares from the
USA and Australia would cost a lot too.

Don't wanna dissect Pam but to my knowledge most of the cruises depart
out of ports from WPB on down to and including Miami. Orlando is smack
in middle of state - 50 miles to ocean east or west - but if you have
a vehicle
after cruise docks back in, you can just hop on I-95, FL Turnpike or
(somewhat
out of the way) I-75 ending up in Orlando. Orlando has tons of lakes
but I
do assume you are talking *ocean* cruise. Orlando is quite a hike from
Miami.
I think they do smaller-scale "cruises" around Orlando on the larger
lakes there,
as a non-ocean option See what you can find out on the Net.
