Joy,
I'm starting a Purr thread for Nanki-Poo, hoping for  better news on
Thursday,
and also and sending prayers your way as well.
This has to be really rough for you, and and .....
dammit, I'm starting to cry again..
You are very much cared about here, just so you know.
Here come my  4 cats with their  puuuuuuuurs (cat prayers)

I really have to wonder why you need to start a new thread?  There is
already a perfectly good thread going regarding Nanki-Poo.  This is the kind
of thing that clutters up the group.  The threads get wild and crazy enough
without having several going at the same time about the same subject.

It isn't necessary, but it was sweet of her.  No need to jump all over her.
Just do as I do - skip over any threads that don't interest you.

But Joy, I did think something "worse" may have happened to Nanki-Poo when I
saw the new thread (I didn't look at the author's name at first).  I saw it
and gasped.  Thank goodness it's merely this.

Kyla, like someone said take a deep breath.  We all made mistakes, well,
this all anyway, in the beginning.  You don't have to apologize for them, we
all understand.  You are appreciated now, don't look back just ahead.  It is
sometime hard to work between two groups.  My cats can say things I can't
and it is hard not to let them!!  Especially with the trolls.

Okay, breeeeathing deeeeply, thank you and Adrian
Like I told her, IDK what's been wrong with me lately.  Everything just
'gets to me' and I end up in tears.  I'm thinking 'hormones', as I'm almost
63 and am post mentalpausal.   I have to teach myself not to be so
'sensitive', because
it just wrecks my mental well being, which makes me no good to anybody.
And I'm losing my keen sense of humor.  I used to be quite a punster.
Thank you both for your kind words and telling me I'm appreciated here.
Pam S told me that too, in a reply.  Don't know if she read it or not.
I appreciate hearing that.  I'll get better.  yes I will.
I don't like being this way.

You are definitely appreciated here.  Some people are too critical.
Combining them with someone who is going through a super-sensitive phase can
make things seem worse than they are.

You might want to see your doctor.  Quite often this sort of thing has some
kind of physical cause.

Thank you SO much for saying that.  I appreciate that.
YOU are a sweetheart yourself Joy:)

BTW, did Nanki-Poo get his get well
card Mosey and I wrote him?

Some people are too critical.

I know that now, and I have one person , and I'm not saying names , in my
KF, but I have to learn to deal with that and not be so blasted sensitive.

> Combining them with someone who is going through a super-sensitive phase

Yeah..I know.

> You might want to see your doctor.  Quite often this sort of thing has

Well, like I said, I'm thinking 'hormones' since I'm at my postmenopausal
stage of life and I refuse to take hormone treatments. Do you know what they
use in those blasted pills/patches?  Pregnant mares urine.  Then they kill
the colts when they're born.  NO WAY am I gonna take that.
I've tried some natural suppliments, but IDK, I take so many things, I have
a hyperactive thyroid, (I'll pass out if I miss my dosage) high cholesterol,
high BP, pain in my knees and I loathe the crap I have to take for them, I
hate 'all' the meds I 'have' to take.  So many side effects.  a couple of
them cause the in-ability to think clearly well  DUH!
Thank you so much for your concern.

It could be hormones, but it could be something else, too.  It could even be
that you need the dosage adjusted on one of your meds.  If you do see a
doctor, which I really recommend, be sure to take a list of all the meds
you're taking.  I have a list of mine on the computer, and take a printout
whenever I go to a doctor.  They always ask about them, and really
appreciate it when I hand them the list and tell them they can keep it.
Sometimes two can work against each other, or combine to cause side effects
such as depression.  If a doctor can look at a list of everything, s/he
might decide to switch one to something else, or maybe even eliminate one.

Thanks Joy, I 'do' need to go in and have some blood drawn, but I have NO
health insurance, which totally sucks,  and the Dr, who I've been seeing for
over 20 years needs at least $50 up front, which I don't have, and then
there's the cost for the lab, which we're still paying off from last time.
Thank you for the hug sweetie, it really helped

And don't forget to list OTC meds and any supplements.  They can
interfere with Rx meds easily.

Hey Kyla,

Don't worry about it! People start threads all the time. I thought it
was sweet of you. I'm not sure why people are jumping on you for this,
and it's not coming from folks who I usually think are overly critical.
So, I don't know what's up with that. But anyway, I thought what you
posted was fine.

It can be hard to feel like you're OK when you're a newbie. You don't
know people very well yet, you don't know our culture or our rules,
such as they are. So it's easy to feel like you're doing everything
wrong. Once you've been here a while, I think you'll be able to relax
more. You'll know when you've made a real mistake, and when someone
is either having a bad day, or is just a jerk who likes to play net
cop. (In this case, I suspect the former, not the latter.) Until then,
just try to roll with it. You don't need to take things too much to
heart. Suggestions can be helpful, but the really helpful folks are
usually nice about it!

Hugs,
Joyce

Thank you for saying that Joyce.
Maybe it was the last full Moon or something?
BTW, my Dad's widow's name is Joyce and she is
a really sweet lady, just like you:)

Thank you so much Joyce, for your kind words.  They are much appreciated.
I'm learning not to feed the trolls, I 'love' the recipe idea, and I just
love it here.
I'm also trying not to be so overly sensitive.
Like I said before it may be hormones on my part.
Um, I've been wanting to ask you , Joyce, but hadn't gotten up the nerve
yet, I'd love to send you a  one of my Cat cards, just to say hi, and send
it to you in the mail.  Mosey and I write these together, it helps me 'do
something nice' for someone, which makes 'me' feel better, and well, if
you'd like, send me your mailing address and we'll write you a cute card:)
It's up to you.
I'd also like to do that for Pam S too, but being new here, and I just don't
know.   If not, no worries...no pressure, <G>
just an offer from a 'probie (I'm watching NCIS)
I love getting e-mails, but I also like to send snail mail as well.
I love it when I get a card or letter from my sisters and my step-mom.
Anyway, thank you again and thank you for the hug too:)
That really made my night.  ..Silly me?
