Usenet is a great resource for doing 'social research', even though its
probably like trying to find a needle in a haystack :-)
I remember someone asking me if it was OK to quote me about hte Bushfires we
had here back in '98 as 'the public's reaction to the Sydney bushfires'. I
said 'sure, as long as I see a copy of whatever it is you are writing'. But
I never saw anything.
Speaking of which, Jared whats-his-name from the WSJ never did end up
talking to me. I"m still wondering if it was a scam or real.

Most cats with a modicum of common sense run and hide when young children
are about. Pickle is not a cat with a modicum of common sense, though.

If Pickle had any common sense, his name wouldn't be Pickle. Thanks Yowie,
I needed a good laugh.
