You can tell who "family" is when something happens to one of us.  Whether
human or cat.  We all pulled for Four through a lot.  That we lost him in
spite of all our purrs is really sad.

As "family" we can fight and bicker from time to time but that doesn't not
mean we will tolerate this kind of behavior from someone else.

I got back on after having company for a day or so and was angered by what I
read.

I could not believe that some person who didn't know didly squat about Four
could be so mean.  I have left food and water for my cats and had someone
check every couple of days to see all it well.  That is part of why I have
cats, so I can go someplace for overnight or a day and night.

Reminds me of the story of the three blind men and the elephant.  A man took
three blind men up to an elephant and asked them to feel of it and then tell
another person what the elephant looked like.

Well, one man was at the tail, one in the middle and the last at the trunk.

So, as you can imagine their descriptions were different.

I have discovered that no matter how you look at an a.shole, as in the one
that was so awful about Four, they all look the same from any angle.

Purrs and Prayers for Four and his family

Granby,

I haven't responded to your other posts but because of this post I ran
through all the posts regarding Four. I don't know you very well yet
or have heard too much about Four and his life before he met you, but
it is pretty obvious that you care a great deal about your furballs.
No cat could be luckier to have known you.

Four was clearly in the best of hands and you did you did everything
you could. It makes no sense at all to bring him to a vet and to just
allow him put to be put down. That doesn't make sense to me, as this
person suggested.

I am soooooo so so so sorry for you and for everyone who loved Four.

At least he will not have to suffer anymore.

My deepest sympathies lie with you.

Melissa
