We can use mail order and they are trying to force us to by raising the
pharmacy co-pays.
I've been slow to get with the program as I'm nervous about being without
something for a week while they sort things out.
I know mail order works a lot better than it used to, but my nerves remember
the bad old days.
I actually had to remind Charlie that while we think of Jake not only as
part of the family, but as one of our kids, the insurance still won't cover
his meds.

We have Caremark, and they are very efficient. I actually get an email
once I'm elegible to refill a Rx. I just click on the link and I get a
new bottle in the mail.

That totally sucks, I agree. I hope someday insurance companies will
become enlightened to the fact that for many of us, our pets are our
children.

I never really understood that attitude. If I am willing to make insurance
payments, why does it matter whether the 'thing' I am insuring is my house,
or my car, or my pet's health. Surely, they can do the math and work out
what the risk is, and what the payments need to be to cover that risk, and
then I get to decide whether the payments from my end are worthwhile.
Some insurance firm will figure it out eventually, I guess. I suspect that
it will be sooner rather than later, with many couples choosing to having
pets rather than barekittens.

What's CHF? I take Atenolol for high BP

I take propanalol for that as well, as well for high BP

You go to K-Mart for your Rx's Victor? They charge $4 for that as well.

Yeah, I used to do that back in the 90's and sometimes it's cheaper, well
cheaper than gas prices, and saves a stand in line at the store. I always
call the store, Target, where I have my Rx's filled, and make sure they're
ready before I go get them. I know when they're out to lunch' etc and they
have the wierdest Rx Bottles. Red bottles, oddly shaped, with a rubber
'color coded' ring around the neck of the bottle. Mine are red and DH's
are purple.
I get 'one' of them filled at Wal-Mart once a month, because it's about $13
cheaper, and even tho K-Mart carries the med and will go with Walmart's
prices, it has to be back-ordered and I have to wait about a week for them
to fill it, and they give me grief about that, so I get that 'one' filled at
Wal-Mart.
It's one I have to take for my major knee pain :/ I HATE it!!!!.
