Charleen has just called me - Four went to the vet at 7.30am and has
been fully examined. TED seems to think that he has torn a ligament in
his knee because it is very swollen and can't be manipulated properly
- hence the rear hind leg paralasis because Four can't put his weight
on his leg. TED is going to do x-rays and a full CBC Blood profile to
check that there is nothing too bad going on internally too.
Fours wound is actually healing really well and TED is pleased with
its healing progress, which suggests that the FIV is not comprimising
Fours immune system. Four is going to be boarding with TED for a few
days, partly for TED to be able monitor him and make sure he gets
enough fluids and nutrition, and partly because Charleen is in no
shape to look after him at the moment because she is feeling so ill
herself. I told her she made the right call regarding boarding her
boy, because she does sound completely exhausted.
Please keep the purrs coming for both Charleen and Four. I think they
could both use them.
Thanks

That is a relief! Continued purrs for Four to recover from this latest
injury. (And I wonder how the bad boy managed to tear a ligament, anyway??)

Continued purrs for Charleen. She's taken on a lot...

I got both messages today, so my continued purrs are running into the
original ones. :)
Thanks for the update.
