This is one sick (an delusional) "rescuer".... considering that all the
cats (and a few dogs) removed from her were ill (or dying, or already
dead:( ).... how can she be determined a "rescue"?????

This is just sick, really. "Bruno operated secretively and didn't allow
people onto the property except from 10 p.m. to midnight, when she'd accept
animals to shelter" Um, gotta ask. Would you take a rescue animal to a
place that wouldn't let you in AND you had to bring the animal there at
midnight? Should have been a clue.
The other night on the (U.S.) gameshow 'Deal or No Deal' a contestant said
she wanted to win so she could start a rescue/shelter. She mentioned
wanting a "ranch" to do it on. Good intentions, I'm sure, but does she have
any idea what's involved with running such a place? You don't just buy some
land (in Southern California, no less, where the gold rush apparently never
stopped if the cost of living is any indication) and say "bring on the
animals!"
