Billy & Lily made it through being desexed. I am making them stay overnight
in the van to keep them a little quiet. I just let them out of the carriers
and offered some food, water and a litterbox. So far I've been too scared to
look at their wounds.

Thanks to all who purred for a good outcome on this difficult procedure.

I am dog-tired. Trying to keep the young ones confined in my bedroom the
night before (to prevent access to food priot to surgery) was a mistake.
They managed to keep me awake most of the night. At 3:00 a.m. I finally got
up, removed all traces of food and water from the living areas, and locked
them out for rest of the night. I think I got to sleep around 4:00. I
thought I might have a nap in the van this afternoon while I waited to pick
them up, but no, I forgot to bring an alarm clock and didn't trust myself
not to oversleep the pickup time.

I'm glad it's all over and they're doing okay.  I hope you sleep
tonight.

It's hard. I'm glad they are fine. I know I stayed up all night with Sugar
after her spay being a worried meowmie. Probably over worried I suppose. She
turned out just fine :)

Glad to hear they are doing fine. I hope you've had some sleep since
they got home.
