We shall be pulling for Taffy. Thanks to antibiotics, cats with bad
abscesses now have a good chance. We lost our Ginger tom before there
were antibiotics, because of an abscess that wouldn't heal. He really
suffered until we "released" him. Best wishes and lots of purrs for

Purrs for Taffy. Once the abscess breaks often the pain goes away (in d*gs
and hoomins, anyway - what do I know about cats?)

Poor Taffy. Purrs sent--the good thing about an abscess is that
(IME)...they heal
pretty rapidly once they're cleaned out.
