I saw on the news you are getting snow and other bad weather. Is everyone
okay?

Nothing here is south central Missouri - radar showed that it was snowing
southeast of Rolla, including where I live, but I saw nothing on the
ground.

Kim, Eric and the Chigger Ranch Crew here. We're all ok, nice and warm
and dry. We got a, for us, phenomenal amount of snow on Thursday. I
measured 6" with a lot of ice and sleet mixed in. Eric left work early
and we hunkered down, built a fire and drank coffee and read. With
kitties on our laps, of course! They were happy to have Meowmie and Paw
home for the day, I think!
Thanks for asking, Ann!

Good to hear you are home and not out on the roads. What state do you live
in?
In Connectiuct we got almost 2 inches of rain in 24 hours. We are okay, not
in a flood prone area. Now we have high winds. Not a good combination with
all the rain. Trees can blow over.

We're in north Texas, so we got the storm that hit Ohio and points east
a day or two before them. The airport at DFW only recorded an inch of
snow but we're a bit west and got a LOT more. It's been a weird winter.
Some of my roses, admittedly the ones sheltered in the courtyard,
never lost their leaves all winter. Don't know quite what to expect for
spring/summer this year.
Stay dry up there!!!

My daughter lives on Grand Island NY and they haven't had enough snow, well
once I guess, to ride their snowmobiles until a couple of days ago.
Daughter said they got all the snow, in inches, that they got last year.

Indiana survived - And "Spring Break" officially started yesterday -
just in time for all the college students to flock to warm climates :)

How well you survivied kind of depended on where you live, though.
Where I am, on the south side of Indianapolis, we got *maybe* 3 inches
of snow Friday night/Saturday morning, which was well on its way to
disappearing by sunset on Saturday. Where my parents live, about 70
miles to the south, they got 12+ inches of snow with drifts between
Friday morning and Saturday afternoon.

Believe it or not all we got was a lot of rain. This sure didn't help
the skiing!

I know that is unusual for New Hampshire.

Hope the mid-west is doing ok. We got a wind storm earlier that almost blew
me over and I'm not a light weight. Mandy was blown against the van by one
gust. So far no damage, so I guess we're ok. We didn't get our internet on
until a bit ago.
