Sam is going to his surgeon tomorrow for x-rays to determine if he is
still cancer free. If he is then he will 'port immediately to the
Mouser to help with the cleanup. If there are any problems he says he
still plans to 'port on down there, I say otherwise. We'll see.

Thanks Joy and Pam. I have every reason to believe that Sam is doing
fine but of course there is always the little bit of fright sitting in
the back of my mind until we get back home.

Thanks everyone for the purrs. Sam's x-rays show no sign of recurrent
disease. Since his cancer was on a rib and he has to have chest x-
rays, we're also able to tell that his lungs look good as well. Asthma
and cancer under control. I took him home and let him out of the cat
carrier and he ran into the family room. I heard a noise in there and
went to investigate. There was a smell, almost an ozone smell, and
Sammy looked up at me with such an innocent look that I have to
suspect something is amiss. I wonder if the Sam in my house tonight is
the same Sam I took to the vet this morning?

So glad he's feeling better.
That's good news for sure.

Thanks Polonca and Soncek,
Sam's x-rays looked good. He's sleeping on the electric blanket now
staying warm.
