Looking at the weather map this morning I see a great big red patch over
the area where Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana come together. I
don't remember which RPCA folks live near there, but is everybody doing ok?
We're find in central IA. The storm that blew through last night dumped
another 4 inches of snow, but didn't do any damage. And we've got flood
alerts for all the counties within about 70 miles of us, but I haven't
heard any actual reports of flooding yet.

Hi Dan, thanks for asking. We're in the Dallas/Ft.Worth area and are
fine. Some storms last night, pretty heavy rain, but no damage that I
can see yet. Nothing but a severely sleep-deprived Meowmie, that is.
Lucy is very frightened of storms and doesn't go hide under the bed,
unfortunately. She's decided that on my chest is the best place to ride
out storms. So I spent the night with her quivering on my chest and got
almost no sleep. Tiger is deaf as a post, so the storms don't bother
her a bit! So Eric and Tiger slept peacefully and Lucy and I were up
all night....Sigh.....I think I'll turn on the fireplace and go crash...
Thanks again for asking. Stay warm up there in the frozen north!!!
