I talked to Ginger-Lynn a couple of times this weekend.  She's having some
problems.  Victor will be accepting PayPal for her personal finances
(medical co-pays are eating up what little she has in the way of money) and
her soon to be ex made her rent payment this month.  However, as we all
know, Ginger-Lynn has ten cats and no waiting.  She will go without food so
that they will not go hungry.  So I told her that I will put out the need
for cat food and litter (she uses tidy cat scoop litter, I didn't get the
food types) and, perhaps even more important for her spirit, seeds and small
outside plants that she can put into a garden area that she has available.
If your spirit moves you to send items, please email me for her addy.  If
your spirit moves you to send money, Victor will use his Pay Pal account to
send it to her.  If you want to help, but can't physically, please send
purrs, prayers, kind and/or healthy thoughts and wishes.  Ginger-Lynn is
really feeling depressed with good cause and can use all the support we can
give her.  Thank you all  for being you,

Most of the time, purrs and kind thoughts are all I can give.  This time I
can actually let people know about her needs.  I figure that every bit of
purrs and wishful thinking for her can help.

Does she have a petsmart or a walmart near where she lives and do they
carry the kinds of cat food and litter she needs? Is there a place where
she likes to buy her plants so someone could call there and get a gift
certificate for her? What are her favorite outside plants and garden
plants? Seed companies are easy to orders from online and could just be
sent to her when the order is placed but we'd need to know what she
wants - actually I will do seeds if I know what she wants. Ginger-Lynn,
email me what kinds of plants and seeds you want (or Pam).

She is currently feeding her ten Natural Balance cat food, but plans to
switch to CRF (Purina One) for price reasons, she uses Friskies canned food
(except sea food), and uses Tidy cats scoop litter.  The nearest garden
centers that she can think of are Straters Garden center, and Oakland
Nursery (both in Columbus Ohio), a web site called www.companionplants.com
that ships.  She would like herb seeds, any flower seeds (especially shaded
areas), tomatoes, other salad veggies, any thing that will cheer her up.
Her favorite flowers include daisies, butterfly bushes, red, purple, and
blue colors, lavender, lilies, sage, beebalm, bleeding heart, hosta, pretty
stuff.  I already offered to send her the chicken dancing chicken that Mark
sent Rob, but she says that her cats would probably be afraid of it, and Rob
says that I am not sending out his chicken to anyone.

I've been talking with her about her future career prospects, and maybe she
will be able to find the one that fits her.  Her photography is really good
and she likes the idea of becoming a pet photographer.  I think she'd be a
great one.

I did a quick search for Friskies cat food, there are sites for coupons. She
might be able to find them for the cat litter too.

We all know the drill, send your money to pistor at austin dot rr dot
com. I keep absolutely open finances on this, so you are 100% sure
your money is going to the intended recipient. :)

Cheers.

Be a couple of days before I can sort something out- just been hit by
a few large bills myself (thankfully not vet ones! :-)) ) and have a
feeling I need to keep something on standby in case we have to make
emergency trip to Scotland but I will sort something out by the end of
this week/beginning of next

Won't send seeds they will have been contaminated by the fingers of
plant doom and that's cruel to them!

Is her snail mail address the same as on the Christmas list for cards?

I can't check as the addy list is on my desk top and I still haven't got the
blasted thing cleaned out.  A PO box number would be right.
