Just about 12 hours from now I will be packing them into their carrier box
and heading for the animal hospital.

Surgery is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. Central USA Time. That's 15:00 GMT.

Successful Spay/Snip Purrs will be greatly appreciated!

Best wishes and purrs. How old are they now?  I have to think about
that for my two. I'm so used to "the younger the better" but that was
always in a shelter situation.

How old are they now?

I'm guessing they're about 6? months.

I think I'm going to get these guys done sooner. Rhett is already
having problems with doing it in the box when he's got run of the
house. But, in both areas. He did really good tonight. :) Plus, he is
already very agressive and fighty.

Purrs for all three of you! Try not to worry too much; they'll be fine. It will
be so nice to get it over with. I found a couple of pics on my hard drive I
don't think I've posted before. Thought they were cute & you might like to see
them.
This one I took the evening before we took them to Tulsa. Billy got in this
Coke carton and jumped Lily as she walked by. She kept doing it, and he kept
jumping her. He looked like a jack-in-the-box. I bet he wouldn't fit in a
12-pack carton now!

This one cracks me up because she was so funny the way she would stretch out on
her back and sleep, never mind what was going on around her. The ultimate
relaxed cat.

Oh, that's what *you* think! :P
That's adorable, though.  We are having a fluffy tabby population
boom!

Snippy purrs on the way, along with cyber hugs for the worried
meowmie.

On a personal note, I think it was when I realized how worried I about
Rocky when he went for his snip that I decided he was part of the
family and gave up the idea of rehoming him. When I took him in I told
the receptionist that he was an ex-feral that I had been feeding and
about my plans to give him to a customer who wanted a barn cat. During
the day I stopped by the clinic several times to check on him (his
surgery was supposed to be first thing in the morning, but was pushed
back until afternoon). After the second or third time I stopped in to
check on him the receptionist commented that I was WAY to concerned
about him to give him away, even though I hadn't realized it yet.

Oh yes. For the members who have joined us in the last few months, Billy and
Lily showed up out of nowhere in my front yard one morning last summer. I
posted their story and pictures, and Pat & Abelard drove all the way from
Missouri just to adopt the little urchins. They have since grown into beautful
cats, and good mousers, too!

I read this too quickly, and thought it said "Spa Day for Lily and
Billy."  Needless to say, the mental picture that suggested was a lot
more amusing than the actual subject!

Nonetheless, snip purrs for quick recoveries. ;)

I am reading this long after the surgery, so we're sending special
retroactive speuter purrs, along with a hefty dose of
full-and-fast-recovery purrs.  And some extra nerve-soothing purrs for
you.   :-)
