I am ok  I shut down the computer and unplugged the cable to prevent
lightning problems the storms have moved on  it rained so hard so quick that
my 60 gallon trash cans were filled to the top.   The storms were gusting up
to 60 mph   a few tornadoes touched down   never lost power.  It was like a
hurricane but for only a few hours instead of days

the furballs are not happy with me I locked them in their cat carriers had
my diasaster bag ready to go.  I let them out here about  an hour ago they
took off and gave me an earful about it

Thanks everyone for the purrs.  If this was a taste of what the hurricane
season to come we are in trouble

Wait till hurricane season  it starts 6/21  and ends 11/21 gets rough around
august till October

During storm season the thunderstorms constantly have tornadoes and squalls
following them

Good Grief!
Well, you could always move up here where we only get rain, snow, wind,
earthquakes and volcanos <G>

You people are far braver than I, how you can live knowing at any moment you
could lose everything is beyond my thinking.  I know, it has gone on for
years.

Yes, we have tornados but not like you do and those hurricanes.  The worry
over family would be so hard, I would think.

The starting and ending times are based on what???     Just wondering how
these dates were picked?    MLB

Weather patterns for those months  the national weather center could answer
those question better than me.  I jsut know when we have storms I lock
everything down throw the furballs in the cat carriers and get ready to run.

Matthew,

I'm so glad you're safe. I imagine your furry troop is NOT very happy.  Hope
the weather gods  take their thunder bolts elsewhere!
