Ok i've been working two jobs lately, so i've been getting home late
some nights.  So the cats have been quiet confused that Mom is out all
day, comes home, feeds them and then goes straight to bed.

Soooooo, the other night at about 3 am, I got treated to a sound
effects show.

Ya know where you can't really see the action since you are trying to
sleep but you HEAR everything??

Before I run it down, lemme give a layout of my apartment.

There's the living room that opens into a very small hallway.  One way
leads to the bedroom and bathroom.  The other way leads to the guest
bathroom and then into my office.  The guest bathroom has two
litterboxes in it and the automated one is in my office closet.  In
this hallway is a scratching post.  In my office is my desk chair with
the high back.  It squeaks when you lean back and Mischief just LOVES
to meatloaf on the back of it.  In my bathroom there is the linoleum
floor and the door has one of those spring thingy door stops on it.
Hanging from doorknob to the bedroom is a mouse on an elastic string
with a bell. on the floor of my bedroom is an cap to a milk jug.....

All is quiet.....I'm tossing and turning and this is what I hear......

slow scratching.......silence......more frantic scratching......

Now then this is only a description of the sound effects I heard, but
i just KNOW there was a lot being 'said' and 'done' but before I write
up a possible translation, I'd through I would let you guys try to
