Meowmie CATNAPPED me this morning!!!

She said she was mad at me because I pooped on her shirt......and peed
on her scrub top.....and left a gift in the kitchen.....and in the
living room......and next to the litterbox....

Well I'm sorry but if the box is dirty, I gotta go SOMEWHERE!  Even
when she scoops it, it STILL smells stinky and I can't use THAT!

I tried to get out of the box.  I really did.  So much that I scraped
my cute black nose.  And that HURT!

But not as much as that NEEDLE!!  Meowmie stuck a needle in my neck
and took my blood.  And then she stuck another into my BELLY and took
my PEE!!  If she wanted my pee I would have given her a free sample,
all over her shirt!

Then this lady looked in my eyes, ears and mouth and felt me all
over.  She stuck this thing on my chest and said my heart was racing.
I was so SCARED!

Then she and Meowmie talked about me going outside the box and they
mentioned the word 'Prozac'  I DON'T WANNA TAKE PILLS!!!

Then Meowmie clipped my claws, washed my ears and threw me into a TUB
filled with WATER!!

At least this time she didn't throw me into the box with the noisy
machine that blows hot air.

But now I'm home, but now my fur is all weird and funky.  I've never
been so HUMILIATED.  MEOWMIE WAS MEAN TO ME!!!

Imp

**********************

Imp has made messes outside of the box before, usually when I've been
too busy to clean the boxes, but the last few months it's been getting
worse.  and I'm tired of it. I have FOUR litter boxes and he uses
THREE of them and STILL I find smelly gifts here and there.

Yes I'm a slob, but it's no fun to pick up a shirt i left on the
living room floor and find it had been peed on.  And yesterday I found
a gift on one of my folding fans.  That REALLY made me mad.

Even when I scoop the boxes and use the litter freshener he'll go
right outside of the box.  I wondered if he was missing the box
entirely.

But it really gets on my nerves.  It's hard to clean when you keep
finding unwanted gifts.  I've been trying hard to clean the box
everyday, but I STILL find presents.

So I dragged him in to make sure it wasn't medical.  But I'm 95% sure
it's behavioral.  I've tried Feliway and that hasn't seemed to work.
So in case its not medical, Dr C is recommending Kitty Prozac.

Great......I was on Prozac for 10 years.  I have enough problems
remembering to take my own antidepressants I don't need to make sure
Imp takes his.  My co-worker who was helping me joked "Well, both of
you will be on drugs."  Hmph.....

Purrs that its not medical and purrs that Imp will STOP ELIMINATING ON
MY STUFF!!

Many purrs.

Nocturne is doing the same thing (the Phantom Pisser).  We have been
to the vet for urinary tests and we also tried feliway and a lot of
boxes that get cleaned very often.  The only things that seem to help
are 1. making sure there is nothing soft on the floor that she can pee
on (no clothes, bags, rugs...we've had to throw out the cat bed for
being peed in so much) and we have tinfoil over the spot right at the
door where she tends to go.

Good luck.

And the little varmint did it AGAIN.  peed AND pooped right next to
the litter box.

There are times like this when I really don't know what to do.  My
family recommended that I give him away to someone else, since they
think owning three cats is too much of an expense for me and took much
of a risk on my asthma.  But on both accounts i've been managing fine.
And it would break my heart to give him up.  He was the first cat, one
that I hand selected from an adoption fair, and even though he's
skittish he's a total love bug when he wants to be.

But the little bugger keeps eliminating on my stuff!  ARGH!!!!

That is one of the big problem with cats that have problems.  The first
thing people think of is "giving them to someone else. And that solves what?
I know how frustrating the behavior can be and I admire you for dealing with
it and not acting like the cat is something to dispose of if it isn't
perfect.

I have four litter boxes.  Three of them are ones Imp will use as the
automated one seems to freak him out.  Yet this is the same cat who
will watch with fascination as the automated box whirrs and creaks.  I
once caught him bapping it when it lifted the lid to deposit the
scooped litter.  To him its EVIL!

I guess I could try another box.  Great...............

Purrs on the way for Imp to get sorted, whether the issue is behavioral
or medical.

Poor Imp.  Poor Kristi!  Purrs for both of you.

Dear sweet Imp, I know it's hard to understand, but Mommy loves you and is
worried about you.  She made you a little uncomfortable now so she can find
out what's bothering you, and try to make you healthy and happy.
