We got major storms coming my way the northern part of the state already has power outages. We are under warnings and watches as we speak. The schools in my area are already out it is hot as hell here 82 plus humidity making it almost 90 . When weather like this happens tornadoes are a problem. I am going out to go get some gas for my generator just in case. I started it a few minutes ago to make sure it worked it did lucky me. I know that's kind of a silly quesiton, because if you don't, you can't reply. Theresa, Stinky and Dante drtmuirATearthlink.net I started to ask the same question. It is funny how you worry about people when you can't get in contact with them. I hate tornados and how they can make you feel. I am usually strong but like the last storm I went through. I could have gone into the fetal position and stayed there. And, as anyone who knows me, that is not my nature. Prayers all is well with him, his Mom and his furalls. We are, I am guessing, about 40 miles from where you are, is that a close guess? We got very, very, strong winds and the air and humidity as you described but it only lasted for a very short (scary) time. The cats were very unsettled.
