Not Sam, but I'll reply anyway.  The card list, AKA "da List"  is
usually set up from August - December.  Last year's monitor was Julie
Snowshoes (I love that name, Julie)  We don't have a year around set
up, but there are those who find someone who needs/wants cards and
gets the address from one of the previous monitors and sends to that
person.  Julie has handled the card list an amazing 3 years in a row.
I've done it a time or two myself and what we don't whine too much
about is how hard it can be.  It looks easy, but one year I sent out
four revised lists.  It can and is exhausting.  I loved and hated it.
So if you want to send out cards on occasion, you might want to start
your own thread asking for others who want to send or get cards.  Good
luck and I hope that you can work it out.

Well, I *am* sam and Pam's response was right for past years.  This year
Yowie proposed an idea to use a private group on Yahoo to register for
cards.  I think she's going to organize it and send a copy to every one
on the list.

If I've got this wrong, Vicky, please don't shoot me!

Hi sam,
That sounds okay to me.  But I was just offering a card to cheer someone up
or if they're sick, to try and cheer them up.  That makes ME feel better
too:)
