Mom?  it's morning, mom..... Mom?

Mischief:  That's no way to wake her you dummy.

Mayhem:  Don't call me a dummy.  Mom?  MOOOMMM!

Mischief:  OH when will you ever learn?  You have to be SUBTLE!  Like

*Mischief jumps onto the sleeping hoomin and proceeds to knead*
*Hoomin groans and eventually rolls onto her side*

Mayhem:  A lot of good THAT did...

Mischief:  OH yeah?  Watch THIS....

*Mischief headbutts the hoomin's face and then flops down ONTO the
face.*  *Hoomin sputters and tries to breathe through a face full of
fur, then rolls over*

Mischief:  Fur in the face, never fails...

Mayhem:  Oh yeah?  She's STILL asleep.  Lemme try....

*Mayhem jumps onto the hoomin's chest and sticks her furry nose in the
hoomin's face*

*Hoomin stirs*

Mayhem:  Mom?  Are you awake?  I KNOW you're awake, I can tell you're
breathing......Mom?  MOOOOOM!!!!!!!

*Hoomin groans and rolls over and ducks under the covers.*

Mayhem:  HEY!  I'm TALKING to you.

*Mayhem starts to bat at strands of hair sticking out from under the

Yeah, starving.  I think my cats eat more than *I* do!  (Of course they
exercise more, too.  Zoomies.)  :~)

WooToo always has food in her bowl and water in her other bowl but the
day has to START. And the day starts by WooToo noticing that the clock-
radio is playing and that Bear is out in the hall, waiting politely to
walk me. WooToo, not as polite as Bear, begins her day by bapping my
nose and going "yeek" until I get up. I can get away with setting the
clock-radio half an hour or even an hour later on weekends. Later than
that and she goes for the nose without the radio going.

"yeek"  (snort)

Stinky makes a whrring noise.  I once sat for a cat who made a truly
maddening "quacking" noise.

Me too- I must admit the Fabulous Furballs are pretty good on
weekends. My friend Hugh can't because Tigger still remembers being
left to starve to death and if food was left down would scarfe the lot
so at about 7 every morning he has to get out of bed, go downstairs,
feed the owners and then go back to bed. If he doesn't Tigger and
Chloe both of whom are huge cats WILL perform the jump from the top of
the wardrobe onto a Hoomin bladder routine
