I've begun a new series of web pages titled "Cat Happiness is ..." -
so
far I have 17 pictures on four pages, but that will change.
URL= <http://67.54.246.139:9000/tdavis/cats/happiness/index.html>
That too may change - I need to do something about the floating IP
address, maybe move the stuff to my Wildblue site.
What I would like to do is get a web ring set up among people with
similar
"cat happiness sites". If interested, contact me.
OK, I copied the directory to
<http://users.wildblue.net/daviste/happiness/index.html>
That is a long-term, if not permanent, URL.

OMG If I didn't know better, I would have thought you have all three of
my cats pictures in there. They are perfect likeness down to the white
on the tip of the tail for the long haired orange stripey one and the
smudge on the tabby and white. The long haired black one stretched out
on the chair is identical to my cat - even the color of the belly. I had
to look several times to make sure the black one wasn't one of my
pictures but the chair was like no chair I have ever used.
Bridget - now everyone knows what my cats look like

Not if they are going by my pictures: none of mine are long haired orange
stripey, or long haired black.
Millie is long haired and apricot colored with white on the tip of her
tail, but solid. Fleagor is a gray Main Coon Cat type.
The only one I could identify for sure from your description was Fleagor
(the only one in a chair). Maybe you need to adjust your monitor.

I think that was Brunhilde (hard to tell from the picture since the color
coded collar doesn't show, and the three Walsungs look alike). Usually
she (and other cats) uses Tigger for a pillow, but this time Tigger used
her. They were really tangled up when I first saw them.

I have a new one, human, not cat: happiness is changing the bed sheets
without the help of a single cat, and not winding up with a cat made up in
it.
Of course, for cats, happiness really is a full belly and a warm dry
place, preferably with petting available on demand. It's some kind of
nasty outside (I haven't looked in the last few hours, but it's definitely
wet and cold) - most of the cats are inside, and several have demanded
petting some time during the day. Currently it's CJ who's next to my left
arm with his belly up waiting for me to quit typing so I can rub and or
comb his belly fur ... he looks happy in his anticipation.

I'm not a cat, but this sounds pretty good to me. :)

Is that possible?

After years of trying, I managed to do it last night: Brunhilde was on the
bed, but she left as soon as I started and didn't come back. Usually, I
have about three helpers and at least one that manages to get between two
layers.
