I was washing a few dishes in the sink and Frank thought it was "cat dinner
fixen" going on. I told him it was a bit early and he seemed very brave at
the moment being as food was on his mind soooo..
I slowly reach out and his head bent down just a little but he did not run
away and then I pet him. He let me and started to purr and walk back and
forth but did not get too far away so I sat down on the floor and continued
and he got braver and started to walk right up to me and getting full pets
and THEN he lay down and rolled over and got full fledged TUMMY RUBS! He
totally loved it all. At that point I did not have the heart to make him
wait another hour for dinner so I set it up (smart cat). His brother never
knew what was going on else he would have tried to talk Frank out of
letting me touch him. Also, while I was touching him and petting him I
lifted him off the floor a few inches and he was still ok. Now that he has
eaten and Lyle has put his two cents in he is more Leary but, my friends,
the die is cast. He knows how nice it is to be worshiped. When Lyle came
out Frank went to him and did some head rubbing and I swear he was trying
to explain how cool it was to let me praise and touch him. Ok, so suddenly
a not so great day seems pretty nice.
