Homeowner stated the cats just began breeding too fast to keep up
with.
40 cats were in one bedroom. On a limited map I found Bonham slightly
north and a bit east of Denton and a little more so north and east of
Big D and Ft. Worth areas. Maybe those of you in that area who have
connections to pet rescue and shelters might like to inspire people
you
know to try to adopt any of these unfortunate cats up in Bonham.
They found a bunch like that here in MileHigh last summer. Sadly,
they were too feral and sick to be adiopted so all but 3 baby kittens
were PTS by the local shelter, where they ended up.
What gets into people like this? I hate seeing a headline like this
on comcast news.

Whoa, whoa....make that 209 (excuse type) cats. Actually just as
unbelievable.

Well, this is really depressing.

I  haven't seen the story, but it always starts out with 'saving' a
'few' neighborhood strays. But none are spayed or neutered. Then a 'few'
more are 'saved'. Then they start breeding....

It's so sad. Almost certainly, most, if not all, of those poor
unfortunate cats will be sick and unadaptable, and will just be killed.

I just hate it.

It is very sad indeed.  I would love to save all those who need it.  I know
my limit is two if I want to be able to afford vet care thoughout their
life.

We have 4, exceeding the 'limit' of 3.  I hope I don't get busted.
