My dear friend Sherry had to give the greatest gift of love to her 21 year old cat Charlie. She is hurting really bad, she's had Charlie since she was 19 years old. Sherry told me that besides her parents, her longest relationship has been with Charlie. Healing soothing purrs for my friend Sherry would be very appreciated and also for Charlie to have a good trip to the RB. I'll be asking Quetzie to take care of Charlie and introduce him to the rpca gang. Jill I'm so sorry for your friend, Sherry. Please give her our best purrs and hugs -- I've been exactly where she is and felt similarly when I had to do the same for Frodo who was 3 weeks shy of 21. Tell her though, I look back and have absolutely no regrets and just treasure the wonderful long memories that we were able to make together. We had a little ceremony for Frodo and planted a Rose of Sharon bush in his memory.
