Amanda is still with me, and seems to be holding her own. I called the
vet and told her that I will not be bringing her in for more fluids,
as I know the ultimate results, and do not wish to put Amanda through
that. I also called in to work today - I have a migraine, and it's not
going away. My boss is very understanding, and he had no problem with
me not going in.
When I went to bed last night, I took Amanda with me, and put her on
our bed. She immediately jumped off, and wobbled her way back down
stairs. She moved so fast I couldn't stop her, and she almost tumbled
down the stairs. She made it, though, and immediately went back to her
tower. I put her back on it, and kissed her goodnight. This morning, I
woke up and felt a cat on my pillow, put my hand up to pet whomever it
was - it was Amanda. She had made it back up stairs, and climbed up on
our fairly high sleigh bed to get to me. We cuddled for a bit, but I
had to get up, so I left her there. Not five minutes later she started
crying, so my hubby went and got her. She wanted to be near me, so
back on her tower she went. Stubborn girl!
I have offered her food, and syringed her some water. I am going to
try some homeopathic remedies, and hope they work. If not, the outcome
will be the same. :(
Thank you all for the purrs and hugs. They mean alot to us.

I know how you feel as lost my Moshi and Brandi to kidney failure. I told
the vet to stop with the IV solution as it was only keeping my babies around
for my benefit and not theirs. My purrs and love go out to you!
