I spoke to Charleen on Thursday. She's got a lot on right now, which
is why she's not at the PC much, but the latest update on Four is that
his wound has almost healed and was only about an inch long and 1/2
inch wide now. It has fur and everything. I know she also won't mind
mne sharing her latest email....
"I am so happy and know that you will be too. I just spent about 10
minutes on the porch talking with Four. He was comfortable enough to
assume a position whereby I could see the neck injury. Helen, it is
only slightly more and an inch long and it is only a bit more than
half an inch wide. It is closing as an amazingly rapid rate.
I knew from a previous look that the horrible part of the injury under
his chin was closed. He was looking up at me and I gently petted and
then scratched under his unscarred, fully furred, beautiful chin. I
don't know who was happier, he or me!
It appears that he is not going to be a heavy bodied Maine Coon Cat.
He is gaining weight but it is around his tummy, not through his hips.
His chest and front legs are full his back ones less so. They are not
unhealthy or out of proportion. He will be seeing the wonderful Dr.
Mulero one more time and I will ask about this just to make sure there
is no problem.
Have to dash. David is home only two days a week and we have a lot to
do!"

Thanks for the update, Helen. Glad to hear Four is doing so well. Have
you had any news on the litterbox issues?

Have been wondering about four but, afraid to ask. You never know what is
going on.

That's wonderful to hear! Thanks for passing that on, Helen. I really
hope it'll work out for him to stay with Charleen, since they seem to
have bonded.
