You may recall that when our daughter had a baby, we rented a place
near her and lived there for the first six months of his life. During
that time, he spent a lot of time at our place, where he and the cats
considered each other objects of considerable interest. Although he
was only 6 months old when we left, I'm surprised that the effect of
his experience with our cats has remained with him.
His immediate family does not have a cat. They do have a dog he
adores, who endures the head bumping and rubbing that is our
grandson's sign of affection,
But, our grandson has shown the good sense to continue his affection
for cats and gets excited whenever he sees a cat or a photograph of a
cat.
Well, now he's 17 months old and had to go to the doctor for an ear
infection. While in the doctor's office he noticed and expressed
great interest in a picture of a cat. "What does the cat say," his
mother asks. "Mow (rhymes with how)," he answers.
Some day, he will be a great cat slave.

Rosie and Cinder trained him well. They should be proud of
themselves.

Aww, he think she's a cat. I hope he can have a cat at some point in his
life.

I'm sure he will. He has many years ahead of him. His parents do not
object to a cat, but just don't have the room or time for another pet.

Lucky. I had hopes for my little nephew, who is now four-- he adores cats,
but they makes him puff up like a blowfish. He is as allergic as his daddy.

Oooh, I'm sorry that your little guy has a problem. We can always
hope for a medical miracle that will make alergies obsolete.
