Dad had the procedure Monday, his bile duct was totally blocked. They unblocked it. It took him until 3am for the anestizia (I know baaad spelling). It's quite possible that by now he feels better than he did before the surgery, and things will just keep getting better. My dad has his gall bladder removed when he was 63. The worse problem he had was that he was bored at hospital and they wanted to keep him in.
