Like most cats, my guys love to lie around on the front window sill, and
watch the world go by.  They usually do a little bickering for position,
then settle in.  Well, over the past few days, they had been sitting there
absolutely riveted by something.  When it finally crossed my mind how
unusually quiet they were, I went to take a look.  Well, they were silent,
but their tails were swishing and their whiskers were quivering like mad.  I
looked where they were looking, and voila.  Across the street, in the window
of the house across from us, was a new arrival-- a very petite, pretty
little girl-cat.  Tabby and white.

My neighbor saw us all looking, and asked me if I wanted a kitten.  No, I
wish I could, but I can't now (actually, I do have evil thoughts about what
effect a sassy, tiny little girlkitten might have at the moment, but the
balance between Stinky and Dante is always a bit delicate, and at Stinky's
now advanced age, I don't want to plunge into the unknown just now).  Turns
out he adopted this little girl, who is expecting, and will foster her
kittens.

So things in that window will probably get even more entertaining in a few
weeks.;)

That's a valid consideration. I used to wonder whether bringing a third
cat into my household would change the dynamics between Smudge and Roxy,
who were best buddies at the time. Sadly, adopting Licky did change things
between them, for the worse. :(

Did he know she was pregnant when he adopted her?

It's like upgrading your cable tv!

It's better than most cable.
