Made it back today  turned on my computer to find way to many emails  way to
many post in the groups.

Also to find some one using forged headers  and my display name was spouting
religion in the other cat groups.  The person has done it to several others
also but oh well the kiddies will have fun.

Blanket purrs and prayers to all those who need them

It was a wonderful trip I am sore a lot of walking on the ship and while on
shore.  I will have pictures soon as I drop them off to get developed   was
not going to pay $.45 a shot while on board.  I did not use my digital
camera  did not want to risk it around water and the water proof housing was
way too much money.

I will tell you all about it later on  after a nap this old man is tired

Our last cruise I actually lost weight.  My niece booked our rooms very high
and forward on the ship.  As far from the dining room as you can get.  That
plus my own absent mindedness ensured that everytime I left the stateroom I
went for a  very long walk.

Glad you had a good time.

Well On Monday it started early  I had to be on the gang plank by 8:30 am
it was beautiful weather already about 75 we were in Freeport, Bahamas.  It
started by us driving over to the other side of the island in a broken down
no air conditioning bus about 25 minutes.  We boarded a ferry type boat to
go out to break away cay island  where they have a marine pen with 15
dolphins.  All 24 of us  went down to the tidal pen which is basically a
large pool that opens into the sanctuary.  The guide a very cute 25 year old
goes over everything about dolphins and we have some interaction with them
while they are performing tricks and acrobatically feats for us. This goes
on abut 30 minutes while we are dangling our feet in the water ( brrr ).
The dolphins will pick up on anyone wearing a hat or as I did a bandana.
They want to know what you are wearing this for.Than by groups of 6 our
guide brings us down for one on one encounters with the dolphins where we
get to touch take close up pictures do basic commands each group gets about
20 minutes.  They do a photo and video of the whole excursion.  Each person
gets a kiss from a dolphin.  The two that I was messing with were Cora and
Kayla  mother and daughter.  I was able to get a lot of photos.  Next to
where we were they had free swimming with the dolphins  where you actually
go out in the pen and have full interaction with them.  That is on my agenda
next time.  Our guide kept the tour going everyone there had a blast.  The
video they take plays over the ships TV for the next couple days.  It was
not that bad $97 for the dolphins  19.95 for the photo and 19.95 for the DVD

Tuesday I arrived in Nassau, Bahamas  once again on the gangplank at 8:30 am
we took a catamaran over to black key island where they have a sanctuary for
the sting rays.  Where we were was where they filmed Into the Blue movie

You get snorkel gear and a inflatable dive vest.  You can free swim with the
Sting rays and the fish in the sanctuary pen for about 30 minutes while the
tour gear gets the squid ready for you to hand out.  These sting rays are
huge.  I held one for my picture I am over 6' 2" with my arms outstretched
it was hanging over my arms.  They have been de-barbed so their tail is no
problem.  The rays will crawl over you investigating what you are.  If you
have a mustache or something on your face such as a scar they pick up on it
and check you out.  I had many of them come up to my face and brush against
it.  I had fun swimming around. They play touch the tourist while you are
not looking and knock you over when you are not looking.  When the food came
out the guide talked to us telling us everything about them.  Warned us no
to tease them with them food for they can bite but their bite is like a baby
with no teeth clamping down with its jaw.  We lined up in two lines  these
stingrays where all over us for the squid.  It was hilarious and a joy to
see these sea creatures doing there thing.  Now when you are feeding them
the squid juice will get all over Feeding them  like this is like a vacuum
cleaner if you are not careful they will give you a hickie if they get to an
area with the juice on it.

It was 59 to go to this adventure  you also go to hang out on a private
beach for 5 hours you could ride jets skis or get a massage
I got my picture for 9.95 jet skis were about $60 for an hour the massage
was $30

I did not get to go to the zoo due to traffic it was 3:15 pm it would take
45 minutes to get to he zoo and the zoo closed at 5 pm not worth it to go.
But next time I will do other things when I go back next time.  there is so
much more to tell I am just exhausted still. I can still feel the boat
swaying.  Got to get my land legs back

There is so much more to tell  but this was about the sea critters.  I had a
blast.  I got to drop off my pictures I took 2 underwater cameras 3
Polaroid's and two rolls of film down with me and need up having to buy and
other Polaroid.  Another lesson learned

Looking forward to seeing images.  It sounds like a great time with all
those sea critters.
